BMC Bikes – Premium Bicycles & Electric Bikes from Switzerland
BMC Bicycles – Built for Top Speeds
The history of BMC is intertwined with that of the Swiss sports enthusiast Andy Rihs. The former CEO of hearing aid manufacturer Phonak took over the Bike Manufacturing Company back in 2000. Just a few years later, the riders in the Phonak Cycling Team celebrated not only their Tour debut, but also their first stage victories. In 2011, Cadel Evans won the Tour de France with the new BMC Racing Team on a BMC road bike and BMC Timemachine. Further victories on BMC bikes followed in Grand Tour stages and one-day races, and since 2021 BMC has been kitting out the World Tour team AG2R Citroen.
BMC also began to get involved in the mountain biking sector, developing their first Trailfox (TF01) back in 2008, a development which came up sporting trumps and helped Julien Absalon have one of the most successful seasons of all time in 2014, where he finished as MTB World Champion, MTB European Champion, UCI MTB World Cup Winner and French MTB National Champion.
BMC Road Bikes – Fast, Uncompromising, Iconic
For those who appreciate versatility and endurance, the BMC Roadmachine carbon road bikes in the Endurance series promise the power transmission of thoroughbred racing machines. These BMC road bikes are comfortable to ride and hold the road brilliantly, so spending the whole day in the saddle is as enjoyable as possible. And when the roads become trickier and gravel tracks even gnarlier, the BMC Roadmachine X is an aluminium road-and-gravel bike hybrid equipped for all sorts of adventures.
The Roadmachine AMP makes for more exploring and enjoyment. The unique BMC e-road bike combines the advantages of BMC Roadmachine bikes with the extra power provided by the compact, ultra-light Mahle e-bike hub motor.
If you dream of conquering the 21 legendary hairpin turns on the Alpe d'Huez and then flying down the breath-taking descents, then the BMC Teammachine in the Altitude series is the perfect choice. The BMC Teammachine SLR is a bike par excellence. Thanks to its upgraded Integrated Cockpit System (ICS) and revised carbon frame, it is lighter, more rigid and more aerodynamic than ever before. An aero road bike any professional cyclist would swear by.
For those who want to venture into the top class without jumping right in and buying a professional road bike, the BMC bikes in the Teammachine ALR range come highly recommended. Featuring BMC's most advanced aluminium frame, an ACE carbon fork and race-focused carbon components, it has all the qualities for you to deliver supreme performance at an unbeatable price.
On a BMC aero/triathlon bike, you’re sure to get to the finish line faster. With unique aerodynamic tubes in a truncated cone design and an extremely narrow front profile, the BMC Timemachine sets the benchmark when it comes to triathlons and time trials. This fast-paced bike really does tick all the boxes, with a variety of adjustment options, so you can get the best saddle position for you, clever possibilities for stowing away your provisions and even hydraulic disc brakes to boot.
BMC Gravel Bikes – For Ultimate Riding Thrills
BMC took their time to create something very special: the URS, a brand-new BMC gravel bike, specially designed to meet the demands of riding off-road. The new BMC frame model features a slack head angle as well as a long reach and wheelbase, meaning you can ride aggressively whilst remaining incredibly stable. The slim cockpit and high-quality carbon frame mean you’ll propel forwards, for the ultimate riding thrills.
BMC Mountain Bikes – Designed out of Passion for the Mountains and Trails
Being fast across any terrain requires smart bike geometry and low weight, together with high levels of rigidity and power transmission. Whether you’re on the featherweight, high-performance Twostroke hardtail or the ultimate XC racing machine Fourstroke with its integrated dropper post: BMC MTB hardtails equipped with 29-inch wheels will absolutely dominate any mountain challenges.
Ground-breaking and flow-inducing: the perfect words to describe the BMC Trail mountain bikes in the Speedfox series. The innovative Trailsync technology synchronises rear wheel damping with dropper post operation, leading to a unique riding experience. If you like a little more help uphill, you will find the perfect companion in the BMC e-bike Speedfox AMP, designed specifically for trail use and featuring a carbon frame and seamless battery integration.
Mountain-loving backcountry adventurers and all-mountain riders are the main target audience for the Trailfox AMP. This hardy e-MTB is one of its kind in terms of rigidity and also features an elegantly integrated drive unit and an array of specific e-bike components, such as the new robust fork and powerful 4-piston brakes.
BMC Electric Bikes – City & Trekking Bikes for Sheer Fun in Your Free Time
Travel to work or into the city in style and with speed on the comfortable BMC Alpenchallenge. Manoeuvrable and aerodynamic like a BMC road bike, this urban bike sets itself apart with its one-of-a-kind functional design, with internal cable routing and hidden mudguard mounts. So you can enjoy this unique riding experience for as long as possible, the Swiss company has also devised the super-light BMC e-bike Alpenchallenge AMP City with a Shimano STEPS electric drive.
Commute to the office on tarmac or gravel roads in the morning, explore a few local hills on forest trails after work and do the shopping on the way home, all without too much sweat. It’s all possible with the Alpenchallenge AMP Cross. The trekking e-bike by BMC features tried-and-tested Micro Travel technology and is hard to beat in terms of versatility.
