In 1962 Ernesto Gazzola founded the Gaerne company to provide ambitious alpinists with high quality outdoor shoes. With the introduction of the "click" pedal systems in the mid-80s, the product range was expanded to include racing bike shoes. Since then Gaerne bike shoes have been an integral part of the cycling world. Until today the family business develops, designs and manufactures in its own factory in the province of Treviso. Gaerne's philosophy is the uncompromising pursuit of quality, which is achieved through a strict selection of materials and continuous development.

The Gaerne Carbon G.Sincro MTB shoe is the all-round carefree shoe for the off-road sector. Whether it's a trail adventure lasting several hours, a cyclocross race or a spontaneous gravel tour, the G.Sincro unobtrusively masters every situation. Like its road pendant - the G.Stilo - it has two BOA IP-1 micro-adjustable twist locks and the proven Tarsal Support System. The reinforced carbon heel part provides stability and reliable protection against external influences. For the EPS Lightweight MTB sole made of carbon Gaerne worked intensively with the designers and technicians of Michelin. The outcome: an innovative cleat profile made of rubber, which provides grip and traction even under extreme conditions and also has excellent self-cleaning properties.
