Pietro Santini took over the knitwear factory of his siblings in 1965. Following his passion for cycling he then became one of the first in the world to design specific clothing for cycling. Even today, all products, from cycling jerseys to bib shorts, from gloves to socks and from skinsuits to arm & leg warmers, are designed and handmade in Bergamo.
Today Santini supplies not only cycling world champions with rainbow jerseys, important cycling tours such as the La Vuelta, Tour de Suisse or Deutschland Tour and large cycling teams such as Trek-Segafredo and Boels-Dolmans with technical cycling apparel, but also triathletes and IRONMAN participants with a large collection of sophisticated triathlon apparel and a specific IRONMAN-collection.

Santini Seat Pads (Chamois) for Every Application
Santini seat pads excel through their versatility, anatomically adapted protection and special manufacturing processes that sew the various padded surfaces inside the cushion so that no seam comes into contact with your skin.
For the longest journeys (up to 8 hours), the high-performance Chamois C3W is recommended for women and the C3 for men. Thanks to the innovative carving process, the pads are incredibly light, breathable and have maximum cushioning properties. In particularly bumpy conditions, the Rooted Gel in the ischial area neutralises most of the vibrations.
The popular NAT Chamois with a NEXT gel core embedded in multi-density foam offers maximum protection with reduced thickness. Perforated materials ensure high breathability even on hot days. Recommended for rides of up to 7 hours.
Even more powerful than the bestseller and predecessor GIT, the new GITevo Seat Pads for Men and GILevo Seat Pads for Women can absorb shocks extremely evenly. During rides and competitions of up to 6 hours, the antibacterial microfibre and clever grooves protect against chafing and irritation.
Minimal design, anatomical cut and the perforated foam layer with different densities make the WMAX (for women) and EMAX (for men) pads ideal companions for medium distances (3h) and indoor activities. The eMax Kids is a Chamois specially developed for children.
Triathletes can find a pad in the GTR Chamois that weighs less than 42g and does not gain weight when wet as it does not absorb water. A thin silicone layer with strong anti-shock properties and an antibacterial and irritation-avoiding microfibre layer ensure a high level of comfort in the saddle.
Specifically for the current Santini x IRONMAN collection a brand new, fast drying and extremely thin IMG (IRONMAN Gel) Chamois with silicone gel core seat pad has been developed. For long tours with previous water contact.

The ACQUAZERO treatment makes the fast-drying fabric water-repellent, chlorine-resistant and highly breathable. To protect your skin in summer, most fabrics also have UPF 50+ protection against UVA and UVB radiation. Other clever details, such as the ZIP CAM-LOCK zippers, which protect against accidental pulling down of the zipper, ensure maximum riding pleasure without restrictions.
