Tout Terrain bikes were not meant to be created somewhere and somehow. From the beginning, the passion that the Römer family put into their tours was the basic concept for their bike brand. Tout Terrain bikes were to be created with a lot of passion, know-how, craftsmanship and real handwork. Not in just any place, but in their home in the middle of the Black Forest: in the small town of Gundelfingen, north of Freiburg. The concept worked. Today, employees from six nations work in the small manufactory, where they produce high-quality bikes made of steel, bike trailers and practical accessories. The claim is: A Tout Terrain touring bike should have zero faults. It should be the perfect companion for trips like the one through Nepal that once led to the founding of Tour Terrain.

At Tout Terrain they have long since recognized: Nothing goes together better than cycling and the big issue of sustainability. What is far from being standard in the rest of the bicycle industry has been part of Tout Terrain's philosophy from the very beginning. From the idea to the finished bicycle, the topic of sustainability plays an important role for every step of the process. For this reason, steel was chosen as the frame material, plastic packaging is avoided, and attachments from German manufacturers are used wherever possible. For this reason, porcelain is used instead of paper cups in the manufactory and all employees come to work by bike. Sustainability has many facets - at Tout Terrain, efforts are made everywhere to reduce the ecological footprint.

If there's no other way, then compensation is used. At Tout Terrain, we strive for the most sustainable production possible. However, we also know that nothing is perfect and some problems cannot be solved immediately. Tout Terrain frames are welded in Taiwan. The reason for this is plausible: In Europe, there are no suppliers who can deliver the desired quality in the required quantities. For this reason, regular trips to the production site are necessary. This is, of course, not ideal in terms of sustainability. Tout Terrain knows this and strives to compensate through offset measures. All necessary travel is offset through the climate protection organization Atmosfair. Tout Terrain goes one step further: If someone makes a voluntary donation to Atmosfair when buying a Tout Terrain bike, the company doubles the amount.

If one's own experiences on a bike trip led to the founding of a bike company, one thing is clear: The Tout Terrain motto "Riders first" is not an empty phrase. This motto is the company's philosophy and daily motivation: riders are the focus. Tout Terrain wants to provide you with the perfect bike with which you can achieve any of your set goals. Tout Terrain has various bike concepts up its sleeve, from trekking bikes to expedition bikes, gravel and commuting bikes. Each bike is perfectly adapted to the intended use and should be a loyal, reliable companion for a long time.

• The Amber Road Xpress is the top model with full equipment, Pinion transmission and belt drive.
• The Amper Road Xpress Trapeze comes as a low-mounted model.
• The Amber Road has no frame gear. You can choose between a gear hub and a derailleur.
• The Amber Road Trapeze is the same as the Amber Road with a low-mounted frame.

The Shopper was designed specifically for life in the city. It is the perfect urban bike from Tout Terrain. Whether for shopping or for the way to work: The Shopper is your faithful companion on your daily routes through the city. For this Tout Terrain combines a simple, elegant exterior with a practical equipment. To the integrated rear luggage rack comes a front rack with integrated Supernova headlight. The belt drive and a gear hub ensure a smooth, clean drive. Thanks to the compact frame geometry you sit upright on the shopper. In this way, you arrive relaxed at the office and enjoy the stable driving characteristics after the bulk purchase. Speaking of which: With two luggage racks that offer a load capacity of up to 160 kg, the Shopper is a real load donkey.

The models of the Tout Terrain X.Over series are off-road capable all-rounders. Here you will find real adventure gravel bikes and versatile mountain bike hardtails with which you can make good progress on loose paths and trails. Tout Terrain Gravelbikes are available with 650B and 700C wheels. They're built from tough, lightweight Stratocrom tubing sets and have plenty of braze-ons for all sorts of accessories. You can attach everything you need on a bikepacking trip. The mountain bikes in this series offer you a balanced geometry and smooth riding characteristics. Like the Gravel models are ideal for bikepacking with many braze-ons. You can order them with 650B or with 29 inch wheels. The Gravel and MTB models are optionally available with Pinion manual transmission.

The name says it all and it recalls the Nepal trip that once led to the founding of Tour Terrain. The models of the Expedition series are designed to accompany you to the most remote corners of the world. They are robust, reliable, comfortable and well thought out. Although it is equipped with modern parts, Tout Terrain makes sure that everything can be easily repaired on the road. International compatibility of all parts is more important on these bikes than stylish high-tech accessories. Of course, the Expedition models are equipped for heavy luggage: Up to 180 kg can carry the integrated luggage rack.
