1.9 kilometres swimming, 90 kilometres cycling, 21.1 kilometres running - the middle distance. 113 kilometres with a very special energy. Because this is where triathletes from the short distance meet long-distance athletes, creating a mix of speed and endurance that you won't find at any other distance. A special experience, but also a challenge that athletes will master with a smile on their faces with the help of this book.
Whether triathletes are tackling their middle distance premiere or want to break a best time, certified sports teacher and triathlon A-trainer Manuela Dierkes gives you everything you need to know in the book Triathlon Training for the Middle Distance and accompanies you with a detailed training plan throughout the season from the first training session to the finish line.
Manuela Dierkes is a qualified sports teacher and triathlon coach with an A-licence.
