The patented RWS wheel mounting system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and user friendly. The Plug In version offers all advantages of a tool-free thru axle mounting. If you prefer the clean look of an leverless axle, just remove the lever unit and carry it in your backpack. If you choose to leave it at home, any standard 6 mm hex tool can be used in the axle. On the lever unit itself there is also a 6 mm hexagon mini tool - ideal to carry with you. Clean and smart: the RWS Plug In.
Note: Please check the thread pitch of your bike's rear dropout. The thread pitch of the 12 x 142 mm thru axle HWQASM00S1459S measures 1,5 mm.
