A pinnacle of the Cross Road category – the CRC 1100 SPLINE® T db 38 front wheel. A wheel made for all those cyclocross enthusiasts out there racing every weekend from October until February. The cyclocross specific carbon tubular rim is laced to a straight pull 240s based hub with SINC Ceramic bearings, combines maximum reliability for the harsh off-road use with superb performance. Being extremely lightweight and reactive, fast accelerations and jumping over obstacles are as easy with the CRC 1100 SPLINE® T db 38 mounted on your cyclocross bike that you can be certain of victory.


Rim Design
Developed with a clear focus on cyclocross racing, one of the main targets was to find the ideal rim width that gives maximum support to the 32 mm & 33 mm wide tubular tires. While a narrow rim couldn’t give as much side stability to the tire as needed, an extra-wide rim would limit the necessary movement of the tire. The rim width of 26 mm secures an ideal support without limiting the tire. The rim depth of 38 mm presents the perfect balance between lightweight and usability for all different. As a matter of fact fast accelerations are one of the key amendments in cyclocross racing. Less weight on the wheels gives a clear benefit to that. Riding through deep mud or sand a rim depth above 30 mm improves handling significantly. While aerodynamics play a secondary role in cyclocross, the perfect blend results in the rim depth of 38 mm.

SPLINE® Technology
With straight pull spokes and the use of specific lacing, superlight hubs as well as high end rims featuring key DT Swiss technology, SPLINE® wheels make for a perfect training and racing partner.

Straightpull Technology
The term Straightpull refers to spokes with no bend at the head. This design allows for an ideal strength to weight ratio when compared to conventional spokes. Due to their more precise alignment and direct trajectory, straight-pull spoke technology creates a stiffer, more responsive wheel.

SINC Ceramic Bearings
The SINC Ceramic bearings of the CRC 1100 SPLINE are the icing on the cake: These unique to DT Swiss made bearings feature a proprietary ceramic material and a specifically developed, ultra low friction seal system. It simply doesn’t get any smoother than this.

DT Pro Lock® Technology
A patented liquid injected into the nipple thread allows for extremely durable wheel builds.
