The new Jet Green drinking bottle has a body made of sugarcane-based bio-plastic, which comes from sustainable sugarcane cultivation. Bio-based plastics, which are derived from renewable raw materials, strongly contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product life cycle and during production.
Ethanol from sugar cane is used as a substitute for petroleum to produce environmentally friendly bioplastic materials that have the same physical and chemical properties as regular plastic.
