The Ultra -5° is an extremely lightweight, compact three-season sleeping bag. It is aimed at trekkers, long-distance hikers and bivouacers who do not want to compromise on equipment and at all users who are looking for an extremely lightweight sleeping bag with the widest possible range of use. With the Ultra -5°, the equipment weight can be reduced to an absolute minimum.
The filling of finest, RDS-certified goose down with 850 Cuin bulking power gives an excellent, homogeneous thermal performance. The all-round, H-shaped down chambers allow the down to be "fluffed up" as needed and the sleeping bag to be adjusted to the prevailing temperature conditions and the sleeping pad used.
However, the focus of the Ultra series is not only on the filling, Exped also uses only the finest of the finest in the processing. Pertex Quantum is used as the outer and inner material, which consists entirely of recycled polyamide. Details like the zipper and webbing are made from recycled PET bottles.
