Safe in any weather, plenty of space, quick to set up and also very light.

The Orion UL is the weight-optimized version of the proven Orion Extreme. It is particularly well suited for tours where protection against wind and weather is required, but at the same time less weight is an advantage. Especially for overnight stays in exposed terrain, the Orion UL is the perfect shelter.

The ridge pole reaching to the ground provides high stability in windy conditions. At the same time, this also creates a high interior space, which makes life in the tent more comfortable. The Orion is completely freestanding and the inner tent can be pitched alone in good weather conditions. There is plenty of room for gear in the two large vestibules. An adjustable elastic cord under the tent canopy can be used to hang clothes or similar items.

DAC Featherlite:

Combining techniques developed for Featherlite with DAC's proprietary TH72M alloy allowed for the development of the world's first tent pole system to combine different diameters in the same row of poles. This gives designers greater control over the shape of the tent. Normal tent poles, when bent, form a shape with low wall angles and most of the headroom in the center of the tent. With the DAC pole system, the tent can be made much rounder with steeper side walls.
