The core of the tent cord is made of Dyneema, a high-tech fiber with first-class properties for use in tent cords. In terms of mass, Dyneema is 15 times stronger than steel with a tensile strength of 200kg. In addition, the material is super lightweight and has high resistance to abrasion, moisture, UV rays and chemicals.
This resilient tent cord is static resistant, which prevents tent flutter, pegs from tearing or poles from breaking. Yet it's not too stiff and knots well. For the best possible visibility at night, reflective silver threads have been woven in.
