The CyberFront comes with an external bearing preload system. The precise bearing setting ensures a low friction and no-play at the rim. The hub is equipped with drillngs for straight pull spokes - straight pull spokes increase the wheel stiffness under load and reduce lateral flex while increasing the disc braking torque transmission. 

Compared to the previous model the SPD-3 comes with a more equalized spoke camber on each side and can now handle higher spoke tensions. Furthermore it is not needed anymore to open the hub for wheel building or spoke replacement.
