k:ium is a fi'zi:k proprietary rail formulation. It's the combination of a particular metal alloy, a specific tubular design and a special finishing process which increases fatigue performance on the rail surface. Fact: 8% weight reduction compared to solid titanium. k:ium features a high strength-to-weight ratio and high corrosion resistance.
WING FLEX™ shell flexes downward in the critical area where the inner thighs contact the saddle allowing for more efficient, full-range movement while pedaling.
This feature, combined with the saddle's extended length allows the rider to find the most comfortable sitting position (multiple riding positions), eliminating standard problems of a saddle that is too long, too short, too wide or too narrow.
Physically whether the rider has big or small thighs, or a wide or a narrow pelvis, the saddle is adapting to the rider as opposed to the rider adapting to saddle: Custom Fit.

The Arione R3 Snake implements Fizik's proven Spine Concept which offers different saddle shapes suiting riders with different amounts of spine flexibility. The "Snake" shape is optimized for riders with a very flexible spine.
