Antares R1 is reduced in weight and even stiffer than the "normal" Antares. The third "A" between Fiziks other premium "A-class" products for highest road rider's demands (Aliante and Arione). The Antares - extremely low weight with awesome elegant design. Compared to competitors in the ultra-lightweight saddle category, Antares has up to 300% more padding and 15% more seating surface at a weight of 155 g only! The integrated clip system for fi'zi:k indicator rear light is included. More seating position possibilities with no compromise mean more comfort and more performance.
The carbon shell provides flexible and comfortable seating. The three-dimensional braided carbon rails with a core of uni-directional carbon-fibers increase strength more than standard carbon rails. The rails are oval with a size of 7x9 mm. The cover is made of Microtex. The wide shaped saddle nose ensures more comfort.
The Antares R1 Chameleon implements Fizik's proven Spine Concept which offers different saddle shapes suiting riders with different amounts of spine flexibility. The "Chameleon" shape is optimized for riders with a moderately flexible spine.
