The Tyrant™ MIPS® helmet was developed to meet the needs of the new Trail- and Dirt Jump generation of riders. The Tyrant heralds the modern era of mountain biking. While the style is understated, the Tyrant has countless technical breakthroughs, including Wind Tunnel™ ventilation and MIPS Spherical Technology. The outer shell is made of EPS, which is very good at absorbing impact energy in high speed crashes, the inner shell is a EPP foam with lower density to absorb the residual energy. The additional cover of this "Full Cut" design extends the protection zone and provides even more safety without sacrificing comfort.
