Its slimmer silhouette paired with lighter weight (only 265 grams in size M) provide comfort and cooling in a sensational way. Spherical Technology, based on the ball joint principle powered by Mips, provides additional safety by reducing rotational forces generated in certain impact scenarios. Progressive Layering with two-layer Nanobead EPS foam of different degrees of hardness provides even more comprehensive management of the forces acting. The size of the 24 Wind-Tunnel™ vents is maximized by the integrated AURA reinforcement arch, while comfortable Ionic+ antimicrobial padding and a network of internal air channels optimize comfort. The Spherical Technology is the further development of the MIPS system. Manufactured in the typical design, the two layers of EPP foam in two degrees of hardness act as a kind of joint that can move a few millimeters in each direction, effectively reducing rotational energy at certain impact angles

The Roc Loc® 5+ Air is the new benchmark. The adjustment mechanism is located in a mini-housing, the size adjustment goes easily and in micro-grids with two fingers. In addition, the system can be adjusted in height, ensuring a perfect fit of the helmet.

Wind Tunnel™ Is Giro's proprietary system of internal channels and active vents that direct cool, fresh air over and around the head, squeezing out stale air.
