The Dime MIPS® is a kid-sized version of the rugged Quarter MIPS® adult helmet, so it has all of the same great features—an EPS liner for impact management, a tough outer shell, riveted webbing anchors and plush, sweat-absorbent pads that are easy to swap for dialing in the fit.
Another standout feature is the Dime's polyurethane coating, which helps protect the EPS liner from daily wear and tear. Plus, the Dime MIPS® models are available with the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System, which we believe can redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts.

The MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet which follows the movement of the head (10-15mm) and absorbs any rotational energy that may occur during falls in order to protect the brain.

With the Fit Kit™ pads, the helmet can be easily and individually fitted without the need for a fitting system. The pads are included with the helmets in various thicknesses. They can be easily inserted into the helmet thanks to the Velcro connection.

The Hard Shell construction is the traditional method of helmet production. Here the robust outer shell and the foamed EPS inner shell are glued together. ABS plastic is used for the outer shell.
