The Scamp™ MIPS is packed with amazing features, including some of the same features found in Giro's best adult helmets, all in a smaller package designed to fit your child. The Roc Loc Junior™ fit system with pinch-guard buckle provides an easy way to fit your kid's helmet quickly and securely. With a wide size range, your child can use this helmet as they grow from balance bikes to training wheels. The design is inspired by the adults' Helmets and since the Scamp™ MIPS has a kid-friendly design, your child will be excited to wear it every time they ride.

The MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a slip-plane system within the helmet designed to rotate inside the helmet with the intent to potentially slow or reduce the amount of energy transferred to or from the head possibly reducing head injury from rotational impacts.

The Roc Loc® Junior is a simple dial fit system specifically shaped to match the curvature of a child’s head. The shape was developed with years of research into anatomic data to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. A large knob makes it easy to adjust the helmet.

The In-mold construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
