Garments made with GORE-TEX® fabric with PACLITE® product technology are durably waterproof, windproof and very breathable. With a lightweight and packable construction, these garments are ideal for activities when weight and space are critical. GORE-TEX® products with PACLITE® product technology use a laminate construction in which a special GORE-TEX® membrane is bonded to a lightweight outer fabric. On the inside the membrane is protected by a thin carbon layer instead of a backer.
