Shoe for demanding mountain tours
The Makra Pro Lady GTX is a further development of the Makra Combi. It is the most technical model of the product family and is suitable for demanding mountain tours with glacier passages as well as for easier high and rock tours in summer. The lightweight and stable all-rounder is equipped with waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and durable Perwanger upper leather.
Due to the so-called „Makra-Fit“- fit nestles a Makra downright around the foot. This results in excellent power transmission. Shoe and foot thus form - from toe to heel - a unit and provide stability in pathless terrain as well as tactility on the rock.
Typical Makra, the special 2-zone fixation with a mechanical clamp provides improved heel hold. The new sole construction combines perfect cushioning in the heel with precision in the forefoot and a crampon mount.
For the lightweight, yet particularly stable midsole, HANWAG has chosen a combination of PU, TPU and EVA. PU in the heel - with integrated crampon support made of TPU for perfect cushioning and EVA in the forefoot for precision in the approach. Excellent grip is provided by the Vibram® Makra outsole. A dream team!
