Hope Pro 4 DH Rear Hub - Disc - 12x157mm - black

Preciously designed disc rear hub made of CNC machined 2014 T6 aluminium. With 44 tooth ratchet, multiple sealed bearings, rotor for narrow range DH cassette. Version for 12x157 mm thru-axle.
Hope now offers the Pro 4 DH hub, based on the Pro 4. Like the Pro 4 the DH offers bigger flanges to follow the trend to bigger wheels. Many DH riders use short 7 speed cassettes. Hope saw a potentially missed opportunity to improve the strength of rear wheels. The drive-side spoke flange is moved out to the shortened cassettes, allowing a far wider flange spacing over a standard hub, leading to a stiffer wheel build.
The new rear hub also gets a bigger ratchet mechanism with now 44 teeth for 10% faster engagement over the Pro 2 Evo.

Compatible with all brake discs with ISO 6 hole design. The hub will accept custom 7 speed cassette built up from individual sprockets, a SRAM 7 speed DH cassette or Hopes 7-speed cassette.
The thru-axle (12x150 mm) is not included in delivery.
Due the wide hubshell the Pro 4 DH with 157 mm can only be converted to 150 mm. A conversion down to 135/142 mm is not possible.

Important note: Hope freehub bodies are only compatible to Hope cassettes. For using Shimano or SRAM (XD) cassettes you need to select the corresponding option.
