The perfect ratio of lightweight and durability concentrated in a fancy road hub.
For many years Hope has been using their proven MTB technology on Hope road hubs. This gave the hubs amazing reliability whatever the weather or road conditions.
The RS4 is a little different. These hubs have been created as a road/cyclocross hub right from the initial concept. They still maintain Hopes legendary reliability, but by using a two pawl ratchet mechanism Hope has created a drive with significantly less drag and as a result, a quieter freehub.
As well as non-disc and 6 bolt disc versions Hope has produced their first Centerlock hubs, although as anyone who has followed Hope from the beginning knows, these are not Hope's first splined disc fitting hubs. Hope’s initial disc brakes back in the early 90's were all mounted on splined hubs, although using a different profile.
