This wheel is equipped with the Pro 4 hub, the successor of the Pro 2 Evo - the top seller even more optimized.
The Pro 4 hubs got a reworked hub body with bigger flanges to follow the trend to bigger wheels. With higher flanges you will get a stronger and stiffer wheel compared to the Pro 2 Evo.
The rear hub got a big ratchet mechanism with 44 teeth for 10% faster engagement compared to the Pro 2 Evo.
The hub is available with different types of freehub body.
The reworked Shimano 11-speed freehub body now offers enough space for any Shimano and compatible 11-speed cassette. A Spacer for 9/10-speed is included in delivery.

The wheel uses the Hope Pro 4 disc hub with 6-hole disc mount. Multiple sealed stainless steel bearings ensure smooth running characteristics and long durability. Adapter kits allow the hub to be converted to almost every axle system available. A 12x142mm thru axle conversion kit is included in delivery.

The new Hope 20Five is a disc specific tubeless compatible (tape and valve not included) rim made from aluminium. A strong dependable welded join keeps the rim together on hard knocks. Its 25mm deep, 20mm internally and 24mm externally wide profile is is ideal to suit larger volume road/gravel road/cross tyres. A single rim weighs just 425g!
