The OutRun is a trail running shoe with a focus on comfort for long distances. Its devotees therefore include recreational runners looking for support and stability, as well as more experienced runners logging miles. Combined with the lacing system and soft heel bed, the lightweight polyester upper provides an almost custom fit that feels comfortable, especially during long descents. Especially since the toebox is kept generous, allowing room for swelling feet during longer runs. Protection on more technical trails is provided by an all-around splash guard, while the BUGforce midsole offers both intense rebound and ample cushioning. So you'll land softly and rebound with energy. Torsional rigidity provides support on uneven terrain, while Rock Shield in the forefoot protects on rocky surfaces. In addition, we designed the lugs of the sole for easy trails and gravel roads. At the same time, the RB9X® rubber compound delivers unmatched traction on both sunny and rainy days.
