The ICEBUG Ava Biosole impresses with Scandinavian simplicity - minimalist and stylish. At the same time, this model is highly functional and versatile. The BOA® Fit System ensures an individual fit and can be quickly adjusted to different conditions. The breathable and waterproof BUGdri™ membrane made of 50% recycled polyester makes the Ava the ideal companion from spring to fall. The oily DriTan™ nubuck leather is easy to care for and particularly durable. In addition, the special production process saves water and chemicals during tanning, making the Ava particularly sustainable. The BUGforce™ midsole with algae foam content comes from running and provides optimum cushioning. The Biosole outsole provides grip on dry and wet surfaces and also offers very good grip on bike pedals. Ideal for all bike commuters.

BUGdri

Products labeled BUGdri™ feature continuous tape technology that encloses the foot like a sock in the form of a booty construction with membrane - between the lining and upper. This keeps water out from the outside and creates a comfortable microclimate inside.

BOA® Fit System

Biosole™

Natural rubber replaces synthetic rubber in the Biosole™ outsole, reducing dependence on crude oil. Natural rubber has about half the climate footprint of synthetic rubber. The Biosole™ material is made up of 90% petroleum-free components, 62% of which are natural rubber. This composition provides optimal traction all year round and remains flexible in all temperatures. In addition, the outsole has excellent abrasion properties and thus ensures a long service life.
