The Super_Perforator_Neoprene sock provides noticeably better ventilation of the knee area even when the protector is worn on the knee in long uphills. The asymmetrical padding on the inside and outside of the knee protects the joint in case of lateral contact with frame or obstacles. The certified (EN 1621, Level 2) SAS-TEC pad on the front hardly needs any more description: the absorption capabilities of this pad are simply first class.

In this combination of Super_Perforator_Neoprene sock and SAS-TEC pad, the K-Pact is an absolutely reliable and very good companion for the round on the home trails, bike park visits or high-speed runs somewhere in the backcountry!

• Super_Perforator_Neoprene: Very flexible, particularly robust and above all very air-permeable neoprene. Of course not to compare with mesh material, but in terms of neoprene it is the most air permeable that is currently used.

• SAS-TEC Pads: SAS-TEC is an innovative German manufacturer of particularly high-quality protectors. The company looks back on a long history in the field of motorcycle protective equipment - and is the first choice when it comes to reliable safety. In the protectors, ION therefore often uses three-dimensionally shaped protection pads made of a viscoelastic foam with exceptionally high absorption properties.

• Power_Aramid upper material on kneecap: Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber that was originally developed by DuPont. It has since found versatile applications, for example in bulletproof helmets, tires and bowstrings. The material offers outstanding qualities in terms of tear and abrasion resistance. And is thus perfectly suited for protectors.

• Side Lightweight EVA Padding: Closed cell foam provides lightweight and flexible protection where you need it.

• Air_Prene: Neoprene is quite versatile: it even absorbs impact energy during a fall to a certain degree. The lightweight Airprene_Padding is perforated for better air permeability to prevent overheating underneath.
