The Tri-Flex™ carrying system of the Halcyon 35:40 Small Backpack.

The Halcyon uses the Tri-Flex™ carrying system with three key load support elements. This allows you to tailor the pack to your next adventure. The spring steel frame and a separate HDPE frame plate provide ideal load support. Both are removable, giving you carrying options for heavier loads (with linkage and plate), flexible treks (plate only) or light, fast touring (without linkage and plate). Tri-Flex™ impresses with a pre-shaped, snow-repellent back panel, padded straps and thick foam hipbelt with attachment loops. The hip belt padding can be reduced or completely removed depending on your preference.
