Big machine for those who want to play in the enduro class but don't want to sacrifice the whole budget for it: The Manitou Mezzer Expert is the newest member of the Mezzer family and built from the same chassis as its big sister, the Mezzer Pro. 37mm stanchions, reverse arch design and special 7000 aluminum construction make the Mezzer Expert the second lightest enduro fork on the market, just behind the Mezzer Pro. A big advantage: Thanks to the modular design, the Mezzer Expert can be easily upgraded to the Mezzer Pro with the aftermarket IRT kit and MC2 cartridge.
The Mezzer Expert comes with the Expert Air air spring. It brings the same very high performance as the Dorado Air at a slightly higher weight. Automatic pressure equalization between the positive and negative chambers during filling ensures smooth response and an even characteristic curve. And for those who want even more progression, IVA (Incremental Volume Adjust) technology makes it easy to adjust air chamber volume and progression. To guarantee the highest performance at all times, the Mezzer Expert has integrated TSR ports (Trail Side Relief), which make it possible to release any existing air pressure in the casting directly on the trail.
The necessary damping is provided by the VTT-6P compression damping, which was developed especially for the Mezzer Expert, whereby high-speed and low-speed compression damping are simultaneously adapted to the terrain. A separate shimstack allows fine adjustment in 6 positions via external adjustment.
Ultimate stiffness: the combination of 37mm stanchions, reverse arch design and Hexlock SL2 thru axle create the ultimate level of stiffness.
Expert Air: ultimate sensitivity with a self-balancing negative air spring.
IVA (Incremental Volume Adjuster): this allows you to change the volume of the positive air chamber by repositioning self-retaining spacers and you'll never lose a volume spacer again.
VTT-6P shock: 6 simple clicks to adjust damping for all types of terrain
TSR (Trail Side Relief) valving on the rear of the lower legs allows air to be released into the stanchions to keep the fork supple between service intervals.
Travel: 140-180 mm (internally adjustable in 10 mm increments, travel spacers included)
Integrated mudguard: can be mounted/removed from the triple clamp with just three small screws
Scope of delivery: fork, Hexlock SL 15mm axle, volume spacer
