With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive Gravity driving. With the side lugs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip. The center lugs have beveled lugs for better acceleration. Notches on the lugs improve transition when turning into corners. Part of the center lugs have a paddle shape, they dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

DoubleDown (DD) casing

Doubledown tires are built like Maxxis downhill tires: two carcass plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, due to two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than the Maxxis downhill tires, much stronger and more robust than the Maxxis TR + EXO tires and therefore ideal for hard enduro courses.

MaxxTerra

MaxxTerra is the right 3C compound for Maxxis enduro and freeride tires. Smooth uphill, as well as best grip downhill characterize this mixture as well as a long life.

Tubeless Ready (TR)

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. Thus, the tubeless mounting is successful with all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.

Wide Trail (WT)

Wide Trail (WT) tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellent on all rims with an inner dimension of 30-40 mm.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
