Maxxis Minion DHR II MTB-Folding Tire TR EXO+ 3C MaxxTerra - 27.5x2.80 Inches

The Minion DHR II is the Yang to the DHF's Yin, the perfect complement, and now available for plus bikes. Proven paddle knobs down the center not only provide decreased rolling resistance compared to the DHF but also offer increased braking when the trail gets loose. You may not notice it outside of the steepest terrain but those knobs allow you to brake harder in the rear to maintain your balance as you let the high volume casing absorb any trail irregularities.

3C MaxxTerra
An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C Maxx Terra is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than Maxx Grip.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tire without the weight penalty. Maxxis TR tires use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tires are the only Maxxis tires approved for use with liquid sealants.

The new EXO+ Protection construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO.
The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, the EXO+ has the following advantages:

• 51 % more stable sidewall*.
• 28 % more puncture protection*.

Tires with EXO+ protection are designed for aggressive trail riding and Enduro racing, and especially for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs. First, there are wide versions of the popular Minion DHF, Minion DHr II and Rekon with EXO+ casings.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
