3C MaxxGrip

Maxxis well-known compound that many of the best downhillers have trusted for years is called 3C MaxxGrip. 3C MaxxGrip provides the ultimate grip and the best damping properties for unparalleled downhill traction.

EXO+ Protection

Maxxis has upgraded its EXO+ construction. The construction of the new EXO+ is fundamentally different from the previous one.
The new EXO+ construction is built on a 60 TPI carcass coated with a new abrasion-resistant rubber. In the sidewalls there is a now rubberized EXO puncture protection layer and above the bead a short butyl insert has been incorporated.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. Thus, tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.

Wide Trail

Tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work great on all rims with an inner dimension of 30-39 mm.
