The All Terrane is comfortable in many environments. The tunnels are large enough to go deep underground, but sloped to allow high speed. It has good self-cleaning properties - last but not least due to the tubeless ready option. If you want to get on the podium - take the All Terrane.
With the Dual version two compounds were used comprised of a hard, longer lasting center and a softer gripping shoulder.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tire without the weight penalty. Maxxis TR tires use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tires are the only Maxxis tires approved for use with liquid sealants.
EXO Protection is an extremely cut and abrasion resistant material that protects the sidewall. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tire unchanged good.
