HYPR Compound

HYPR is a full silica compound and Maxxis best road bike compound. 16% less rolling resistance and 23% better grip in the wet than the old road bike compound. Most impressively, HYPR significantly improves rolling resistance and traction while still maintaining the extremely high level of durability of our old compounds.

K2 puncture protection

This fabric is manufactured exclusively for MAXXIS. It offers more puncture protection than normal Kevlar and Vectran. The light and supple K2 ensures unsurpassed performance and convincing handling of the tire.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tire. Thus, the tubeless mounting is successful with all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
