The Ravager is a gravel tire for riders who want to tackle difficult terrain with only drop bars and a thin layer of rubber. While other tires stop traveling at the end of the road, the Ravager starts to shine. Raised square center lugs allow for good climbing as well as braking ability. Large side lugs get you safely through the next turn.

Dual Compound

Two different rubber compounds are blended into one tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired characteristics of the tires.

SilkShield protection

SilkShield technology provides protection from rim to rim, preventing punctures, cuts and other defects on the sidewalls and under the tread.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all rims with standard dimensions, even with the first inflation and with little fluid.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
