DRILITE® Loft II:
Considerably lighter than the original fabric, but still with the same highly water resistant 1500mm hydrostatic head. Drilite Loft II weighs a maximum of 50g/m². This is the ideal fabric for sleeping bags destined for serious mountaineering, climbing and backpacking use in difficult conditions.
SUPERSOFT™ 30:
Supersoft™ 30 is the legendary performer chosen for its breathability and durability. Weighing just 49g/m² provides exceptional durability with a soft hand and good breathability.
Alpine Fit:
The overall narrower cut sleeping bag is designed to optimise thermal performance while keeping weight as low as possible.
Slanted box-wall baffles:
The angle of the side walls provides advantages in terms of heat output and reduces heat loss. Also the slipping of the down is reduced. It is an excellent, lightweight construction.
15:11 trapezoid baffles:
A very efficient trapezoidal construction is the 15:11 profile, which leads to further weight reduction and can be compressed even more (compared to 14:7 trapezoidal baffles), as the steeper side walls require less material. If you want the weight of the sleeping bag to be as light as possible while maintaining very high thermal efficiency, this design is ideal.
Mid-Level seams:
The most versatile method is to use side seams. This makes it easier to get in and out of the sleeping bag and to connect two sleeping bags. This construction is used for all sleeping bags intended for all-round ice setting in less extreme environments.
Gemini™ baffles:
The Gemini™ system is considerably lighter than previous baffles designs, very efficient, requires little space and offers maximum protection. Over the entire length of the opening, counter-rotating V-baffles have been integrated into the sleeping bag, which have a much larger contact area when the sleeping bag is closed. This results in a significant reduction in heat loss at this critical point.
Heat collar with Lode Lock™ closure:
Push buttons were often cumbersome to close or accidentally opened. Hook and loop fastener scratched the neck. The Lode Lock™ closure with a special guide closes almost by itself thanks to a light magnet. Accidental opening is avoided. A short pull on the opening loop releases the mechanism quickly.
DC5 hood:
The 5 baffles in the efficient design keep the down reliably in position and the head warm. The slightly larger volume offers high comfort. The size and opening can be adjusted with the smooth-running laces.
Trapezium 6 foot part:
A foot part with 6 chambers in high-end construction for the most extreme conditions. The sophisticated design combines the "Bulls Eye" concept with the anatomically cut "Shark Toe" shape. The end sits like a cork in the foot part and minimizes cold bridges.
DOWN CODEX®:
The Down Codex® guarantees animal protection and animal welfare. Forced fattening and live plucking are excluded. Down is a pure by-product of food production and no solvents are used for cleaning.
Down tracking: Each product contains an individual code that can be entered on the Down Codex® website. This allows details on the origin of the down in the product and an IDFL Animal Welfare Report to be viewed.
