The centerpiece of the Straightpull rear wheel hub is the freewheel system with a tooth washer freehub.
All hubs are developed and produced in Germany.
The two tooth washers of the freewheel system, unlike pawl freewheels, guarantee that all teeth are fully used.
Only high-quality, double-sealed industrial bearings with a special grease filling are used on the rear wheel hubs. The grease has a 25% higher water absorption capacity and a very high bleeding temperature, which protects the bearings against premature wear and corrosion. The 17 mm Oversize rear wheel axle is internally certified for weight reasons and ensures the best stiffness values.
Beside the more modern design of the Straightpull hubs are further main advantages of these hubs:
The non-contacting spokes, which can also cause no unpleasant noises, and the spoke heads which can not be incorporated into the spoke flange.
The limit of accuracy of all components is perfectly rounded by the TA caps. The TA caps (Tolerance Adjustment Caps) are used to compensate all component and mounting tolerances and provide a long and easy running of the bearings or hubs.
The rear hub is available with Shimano and SRAM XD freewhel.
