Perfect for a fast, light and comfortable wheels
Like all Newmen Evolution SL components, the high-end rim is made of a high-strength aluminium alloy. It impresses with first-class mechanical properties and a low weight. Thanks to its high dent resistance, the Evolution SL X.A.25 rim is ideal for the new breed of modern Trail bikes and yet light enough for XC and Marathon.
The MTB rim owes its increased resistance to dents and external forces to the flared rim flanks, which at the same time give the tyre a rounder shape and thus more cornering grip. Compared to rims of the same weight class, the rim flanges are much more solid and thus more robust and resistant.
The rim profile of the X.A. rim is designed for use with Newmen MG washers. The straight nipple bearing surface in conjunction with the special washers ensures extremely high pull out values of the spokes, with low wall thickness in this area.
Important note: When lacing, nipple washers must be used (sold separately).
