Newmen Evolution SL E.G.30 MTB Rim - 29 Inch - 32 Spoke Holes - black

The Newmen Evolution E.G.30 is a high-end aluminium rim especially designed for the loads of Gravity mountainbikes. It has an edge-free outer contour and flared flanks that give the tyre a rounder shape and thus even more cornering grip.

Combined with Newmen Evolution SL hubs and stable Sapim Race spokes (each sold separately), the result is a very light and extremely durable Gravity wheel.

Super durable for the toughest use

The basis of the Evolution SL E.G.30 rims are the super light and very stable Newmen Evolution SL rims. The additionally reinforced rim profile of the E.G. rims makes each wheel extremely stable and resistant to dents and dings. The resistance values could be improved by 40% compared to the already very stable SL A.30 rims.

Use of material only where it is necessary

The rim profile of the E.G. rim is designed for use with Newmen MG washers. The straight nipple bearing surface in conjunction with the special washers ensures extremely high pull out values of the spokes, with low wall thickness in this area.

Important note: When lacing, nipple washers must be used (sold separately).
