Impregnates, maintains the stability, breathability and structure of all nubuck and suede shoes.

Breathable, waterproof shoes are sweated through very quickly in damp and wet conditions and become wet from the inside. When nubuck or suede absorbs water on the surface of the shoe, the breathability of the shoes is reduced. The durable water repellent property (DWR) of your shoes must therefore be maintained to ensure wearing comfort. As soon as the effect wears off, renew it with Nikwax Suede Waterproofing™.

Tip:

Before treatment, a cleaning without conventional detergents should be carried out, as any residues may affect the effectiveness of the impregnation agent. It is therefore recommended to pre-wash with Nikwax Cleaning Gel for Footwear. Dirt prevents the ability to repel water. So regular cleaning will increase the performance of your footwear.

It leaves a flexible, water repellent layer on individual fibers of nubuck and suede. This allows moisture to pass through as it evaporates, maintaining breathability and keeping your feet dry. Nikwax Suede Impregnation™ is specially formulated for footwear made from a combination of nubuck and suede materials and preserves the structure of the materials.
