In the Northwave FAST POLAR bib shorts have been combined excellent insulation, optimum comfort, absolute breathability and maximum protection against cold, wind, spray and rain.
The front panel is made of POLARTEC® WIND PRO® and has been optimized with a DWR treatment to protect the body from cooling by the oncoming wind. This is achieved through the use of thermal air pockets in the fabric, which keeps the heat inside without processing an additional laminated membrane.
POLARTEC® HARDFACE® also increases abrasion resistance and protects against the elements without compromising the soft comfort, perfect adaptability or breathability of the fabric.
The lower part of the bib shorts is made of a soft, roughened two-way stretch fabric for an excellent feel against the skin. The EXPLORER Northwave pad with different densities guarantees excellent long-distance performance thanks to its unique snugness.
