This decorative wooden box contains a standard Opinel knife N°08 with the typical blade from non-stainless carbon steel. The black synthetic leather sheath can be carried on a belt or carabiner.
The blade of the Opinel knife is made from high non-stainless XC90 carbon steel and is heated during production to over 1000°C. Thanks to the unique Virobloc system, the blade can be locked quickly. To fix the blade, only the safety ring must be rotated. The handle is made of one piece of dried, long-stored hardwood. A special finish protects against moisture. Easy to resharpen.
