The Apex Float is the most buoyant wetsuit in the entire Orca range. This wetsuit contains special technologies for maximum buoyancy and technique correction. It helps those swimmers who need support to maintain a correct water position in open water. In addition, highly elastic materials are incorporated into the upper body to promote unimpeded arm pull.
Whether you're looking to conserve energy or looking for extra support to maintain a good water position, the Apex Float is for you. This wetsuit features special components, for maximum buoyancy and for optimizing your posture. With it you improve your swimming technique and bring maximum power into the water.
The Apex Float is equipped with Yamamoto 40 and High Elbow Panel in the shoulders, arms and back, which gives you good freedom of movement in the upper torso area.
Thanks to 3 mm thickness on the torso and 5 mm on the legs, this wetsuit will keep you warm even if it's a bit colder on the swim leg of a triathlon.
The coordinated material distribution and construction of this wetsuit give it a balanced buoyancy. This ensures that your body sits well in the water, allowing you to swim unimpeded and maintain your technique at all times.
40+: Yamamoto 40, used in Orca's top wetsuits, combined with the Infinity Skin-2 lining, gives swimmers a feeling of total freedom. The lining also contains bamboo viscose fibers that provide added flexibility, help prevent odor and keep bacteria out. The Nano Ice SCS surface treatment increases hydrodynamics, reduces friction in the water and means more speed on every pull. The combination of these three technologies gives the athlete maximum flexibility in the shoulder area. Compared to traditional neoprene, 72% less force is needed to stretch the material.
40 FS: For maximum freedom, stretch and flexibility, we use Yamamoto 40 in combination with a lining of Infinity Skin 2 and complemented by a Smoothskin surface finish for the Orca top models. As a result, open water swimmers enjoy maximum freedom of movement in the shoulder area and require 72% less power than any other wetsuit. The bamboo viscose fibers of the liner provide flexibility in every pull, reduce odors and prevent the appearance of bacteria.
40 PF: In Orca's top models, the Power-fit lining with its compression properties combined with Yamamoto 40 ensures a perfect fit in the torso area and prevents water from flowing into the suit. In addition, the Nano Ice SCS surface treatment provides improved hydrodynamics by reducing friction in the water, allowing open water swimmers to feel the speed with every pull.
Exo-Lift is a type of sandwich design that combines a neoprene layer, Aerodome technology and a third layer of inner neoprene with a special treatment, making the Predator even more resistant and achieving maximum buoyancy and 0% water absorption. A little help in maintaining a hydrodynamic position at all times, even when you are tired.
