PEARL iZUMi has used the same technology as in its X-Project series to ensure that neither the ability to walk nor the ability to pedal are neglected. The one-piece upper shoe is made of hard-wearing imitation leather, which provides a pleasant foot climate thanks to ventilation perforations. In addition, an L6 BOA closure distributes the pressure evenly over the instep. The additional toe protection prevents injuries caused by falling rocks and facilitates extended or steep climbing passages. A compact EVA element in the heel area provides noticeable vibration damping, reducing fatigue during long rides on rough roads.
