Petzl Meteora Helmet - white/gray

METEORA helmet is the right choice for women who love climbing, mountaineering and ski touring. It has a headband that adapts to long hair tied in a ponytail and reliably protects the head during all three sports. Thanks to its lightweight, compact design and excellent ventilation, it ensures comfortable wear in any season. The shape enclosing the head provides increased protection in the entire head area. It is specially designed for wearing ski goggles, making it ideal for ski touring. It is CE certified as a ski touring helmet, but does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for helmets for alpine skiers.

Lightweight, comfortable design specifically for women:

• special ladies size (52/58 cm),
• semi-rigid, easily adjustable OMEGA headband with a generous cut-out to allow the helmet to be worn with long hair tied in a ponytail

• In-mold construction with an inner shell of EPS foam injected under a thin outer shell of polycarbonate for a compact fit on the head,
• Large vents for maximum air circulation.

Increased protection:

• Designed according to the Petzl label TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION,
• design enclosing the head for optimal impact protection on the sides and in the front and back of the head.

Suitable for ski mountaineering:

• The first CE certified ski touring helmet.
• Optimal ventilation during ascent and descent. The helmet can be worn easily from the beginning to the end of the tour.
• The special design on the front is designed to wear ski goggles.
• The elastic cord on the back is compatible with the straps of ski goggles.
• The semi-rigid headband is easy to adjust even when wearing gloves.
• Two headlamp clips in the front and an elastic cord in the back for attaching a headlamp.

Note: The helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for helmets for alpine skiers.
