The Pirelli Scorpion Trail S MTB folding tire offers excellent grip on mixed surfaces with maximum puncture resistance. The lug height and their spacing have been perfectly matched to the specially developed SmartGRIP rubber compound.

The tread consists of high and widely spaced lugs, which guarantee excellent performance on the ground and increased mechanical grip. This generates a unique response, a precise feeling for traction and braking, as well as excellent support when cornering. In turn, the large distances between the lugs help the tire get rid of the mud and show its performance at all times.

The Trail S covers all riding styles as well as track conditions, whether on the local race track or the next trip to the mountains.

To further increase rolling characteristics and puncture resistance, the tire offers the possibility of tubeless operation.

SmartGRIP

This rubber compound is the result of an extensive research and development process that has resulted in the best possible performance in both dry and wet conditions. Pirelli has chosen a single-compound composition to achieve the most consistent performance over the life of the tire, even when the lugs start to wear down.

ProWALL

This is a protective sidewall reinforcement technology for improved puncture protection and optimized handling, even at low tire pressure. An additional layer of nylon fabric over the sidewalls of the carcass provides additional safety and improved cornering stability.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
