The Praxis Works 2-speed chainrings with the LevaTime II technology are even stiffer and offer a higher switching speed than before. The LT2 technology has been developed over the years, through intensive testing and constant optimization, always further and now represents a class of its own when it comes to shifting precision and especially shifting speed. The complex arrangement of climbing aids, cutouts, ramps and tooth shapes is precisely calculated from the small to the large chainring and in no way coincidental. Thus, the chain changes position absolutely controlled and efficient.
The X-Ring geometry which has an increased pitch circle diameter, minimizes the torsion within the chainring and again improves the shifting precision and effectiveness of the drive.
The whole is held together by the reinforced, forged LT2 X-Spider. With the included plastic reducer, this is also compatible with older, narrower 3-Bolt Direct Mount Praxis road bike crank and thus allows a cost-effective upgrade without having to buy a new crank.
