If the child is already safe on the road and has good coordination, then the PUKY LR 1 L Br is exactly the right vehicle. Thanks to the child-friendly brake, the pilot gains early experience with a brake lever and the corresponding braking effect. The drum brake used by PUKY is well dosed and very low maintenance. During the operation of the lever, the handle remains firmly enclosed by the hand, so that the child can not lose control of the vehicle.

The sturdy steel frame has a low step with footboard to get on the vehicle without problems. Downhill, the child can put his feet on the footboard. Ball bearing and pneumatic wheels provide smooth running and optimal grip and comfort during the ride. PUKY safety handlebar grips as well as the handlebar pad and provide protection in minor collisions.

Special balance bike saddle – Form Follows Function. The "banana saddle" specially developed for Puky balance bikes gives children a secure hold and supports the child's running movements. Since the thrust impulse can only be transmitted via the saddle on a balance bike, a completely different shape is required here than on a bicycle in order to provide the child with safety and good vehicle control.

Low step-in – This provides safety. The deep entry of the balance bike makes it easy to get on and off, which gives beginners in particular a high level of safety as well as confidence in the vehicle and their own abilities. Thus, learning successes are achieved faster and the fun in the movement is increased.

Large running board – Riding on a large foot? The importance of a large running board can be observed by anyone who watches children riding downhill. If one is not available, the feet are intuitively lifted high off the ground. The center of gravity moves upwards, the whole vehicle loses stability and rocks. If, however, the feet are low and in the center of the vehicle, the track remains stable and insecurities do not arise in the first place.

Brake suitable for children – Everything under control. All PUKY® brakes have been developed especially for their vehicles and have been improved successively. To produce brakes for children requires a high degree of adaptation to the child's development. Small handle diameters allow a safe grip around the handlebar during braking and the specially adapted brake levers are extra easy to reach for short children's fingers. A special gear ratios and materials allow a soft response and a braking effect exactly within the specified range.

Pneumatic wheels in 2.0" – Comfort and performance. In terms of grip, pneumatic wheels are still superior to any other technology. The comfort as well as the optimal handling can be adjusted to the personal preferences of the children by changing the air pressure.
