The Gregarius Ultra bib shorts have been optimized to be the ultimate all-round shorts - by using Q36.5's own new UF Knit44 ECO material, the new SM Anatomic seat pad and the introduction of a new elegant cut construction.

100% recycled material

With a focus on a more environmentally sustainable approach, Q36.5 have reworked their UF Knit44 to offer a fabric made from fully recycled material. Most recycled fabrics only use a recycled yarn for polyamide and stick with a virgin yarn for spandex. In the redesign of the UF Knit44 ECO, only 100% recycled yarns were selected.

New seat pad

The well-known Super Moulded (SM) seat pad is an extremely high performance pad designed for a solid, substantial feel, as well as all-around support while riding. Q36.5 have updated it and developed a complete three-dimensional molding that more closely matches the anatomy of the human body and provides more comfort while riding. The foam padding has been calibrated according to the scheme of variable densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischial, genital and gluteal zones, resulting in an extremely refined tuning of the overall comfort. A unique molding technique is used on the padding to create smooth variations in thickness, significantly improving contact with the rider's skin.

Improved fit

To improve the feel of the pants, Q36.5 have incorporated a laser-cut finish in the waist area, which also allows them to cut down on many unnecessary seams. In addition, the anti-stress insert now follows the three-dimensional construction of the padding, creating a more anatomical interface with the human body.

New ergonomic pre-shaped fit: it is similar in construction to the Salopette Elite. Minimal use of seams and strategically placed panels support muscle movement when pedaling.

Q36.5 have also reworked the cut in the seat area: Dyneema® inserts have been used under the seat pad. Dyneema is an incredibly robust textile, while at the same time exceptionally light and offers in the seat area (where a lot of heat is generated) improved thermoregulatory properties. In addition, the virtually "indestructible" Dyneema extends the life of the pants by efficiently protecting them from abrasion in the saddle area.

Anti-stress cut: in the front genital area, the cut and fit have been completely revised. The anti-stress insert provides maximum comfort even after hours in the saddle and the right amount of freedom of movement.

The leg cuffs are also new: we have further developed them, making elastic cuffs and silicone a thing of the past. The soft, unhemmed leg cuffs are pleasantly soft, exert no pressure on the muscles and yet sit perfectly at all times.

New strap construction: lightweight, breathable, elastic, with very thin mesh in the back.
Support in the lumbar area with a firmer, tightly woven textile with silver thread that actively supports the lower back and a stable sitting position.
