The Rab Alpine models are designed specifically for the mountains, whether on high-altitude adventures on foot or in the bike saddle in the Alps or deep in the Himalayas. The Alpine 200, with its good warmth-to-weight ratio and low bulk design, is perfect for mountain adventures in summer. It has a fill of 200g 650 cuin duck down and a wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum shell with recycled nylon lining.

The cleverly designed Alpine down sleeping bag impresses with maximum thermal performance. The trapezoidal boxwall chamber construction means that the down can puff out completely. Thus, cold bridges have virtually no chance, and the warmth is maximized. The herringbone pattern chamber construction improves the stability of the down and evenly wraps the entire body in it. The Alpine sleeping bag's openings are also designed to allow as little body heat as possible to escape; the cozy 3D down collar can be cinched closed to trap heat. A down-filled windbreak chamber along the length of the zipper prevents body heat from escaping. The Alpine, with its narrow mummy shape and angled foot area, is not unnecessarily bulky or heavy, but provides a comfortable night's rest.

All Rab down sleeping bags are filled by hand in the UK; the down is basically not compressed before use, so its bulking power and warmth of the down is preserved.

Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to create a lightweight and soft fabric that shows off the insulation to its best advantage. It features down-proof construction as well as DWR waterproofing and is soft to the touch. In addition, it is pleasantly lightweight, has a small pack size and provides reliable protection from wind and weather.
