The Ascent 500 is a versatile sleeping bag with a comfortable, wide mummy shape. Filled with 500g of 650 cuin goose down for cooler nights, the sleeping bag has room to wear additional layers of clothing. Ideal for two seasons and spring temperatures similar to the UK, New Zealand or Scandinavia.

The Ascent is made from a lightweight, durable, recycled Pertex® Quantum shell with recycled nylon lining. Its precisely stacked trapezoidal boxwall chambers optimize the bulk of the hydrophobic duck down inside and counteract cold spots. All our down sleeping bags are filled by hand in the UK; the down is basically not compressed before use, so its bulking power and warmth of the down is preserved.

The roomy mummy shape with wide foot area provides space and therefore a comfortable night's rest; the close-fitting thermal collar prevents body heat from escaping to the outside in freezing cold. It has a ¾-length main zipper with a down-filled windbreak chamber that keeps the cold out.

An interior zippered pocket that conveniently stores a cell phone or headlamp, a cotton stuff sack, and a compression sack that provides compact packing size and protection on the go are essential practical details. Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to provide a lightweight and soft fabric that allows the insulation to perform at its best. It includes a for downproof construction as well as DWR waterproofing and feels soft to the touch. In addition, it is pleasantly lightweight with a small pack size and offers reliable protection from wind and weather.
